Johns Hopkins University promotes intellectual discovery through academic exchanges, programs abroad, collaborative research, and cooperative agreements. More than 40% of JHU undergraduates have an international experience prior to graduation. Students participate in study abroad and international projects in over 50 countries worldwide.
The mission of the Office of Study Abroad at Johns Hopkins University is to promote, support, and develop international programs that foster creativity, discovery and excellence in undergraduate education. The Spring 2022 study abroad application cycle is now open. While most application deadlines range from September to November, there are a couple programs with quickly approaching deadlines, including Hopkins King’s College London and National University Singapore. Applications and additional information for Spring 2022 can now be accessed here.
We remain hopeful that Spring 2022 programs will proceed as planned; however, we will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as necessary via the Office of Study Abroad website and your Hopkins email account. We understand that the unpredictability of the COVID-19 situation makes decision-making and planning for Spring 2022 especially difficult. Please know that we are committed to helping you realize your personal and academic aspirations, but will always prioritize your health and well-being.
We have opened all program applications for the spring semester, regardless of current travel advisory status, except for programs that have already been suspended. We will be reviewing the status of Spring 2022 programs throughout the semester and will have a decision on whether programs will run by mid-November.
