Exploring Careers in Tech and Energy: Johns Hopkins SAIS Shines with Successful San Francisco Bay Area Trek

The Office of Global Careers at Johns Hopkins SAIS successfully organized their annual San Francisco Bay Area Career Trek from May 28-30, 2024. A group of 23 students had the opportunity to explore a wide variety of technology and energy career paths through employer site visits, career panels, and networking events. Many of the employer events were offered in hybrid format, allowing for additional students to attend online. The trek culminated with an happy hour at Chambers Eat + Drink, providing more opportunities for students to connect and network with SAIS alumni. Participating employers included AES, Apple, Banyan Infrastructure, BitGo, California Public Utilities Commission, Energy & Environmental Economics (E3), ENGIE, the European Union Office in San Francisco, Google, Liftoff Mobile, Meta, Netflix, Pacific Gas & Electric, Palo Alto Networks, Skoll Foundation, Sunrun Solar, and Tesla.
