Dear JHU Community,
We are excited to announce the 4th Annual Career Impact Awards at Johns Hopkins University! These awards celebrate the unsung heroes within our community who have generously shared their time, expertise, and connections to elevate the professional and career growth of others. Each year, these selfless acts, often performed quietly and without fanfare, strengthen our community and make a lasting impact.
The Three Distinguished Award Categories:
- Career Impact Award for Faculty & Staff – Celebrating four faculty members and two staff members (outside of career and life design) who have consistently fostered the professional growth of their students and trainees.
- Career Impact Award for Students, Postdoctoral Fellows, and Alumni – Recognizing two doctoral students, two postdoctoral scholars, and two alumni who have made a significant impact on others within the JHU community throughout their academic journeys.
- Career Champion Award – New this year, this award will recognize one Career Impact Award recipient—whether a staff member, doctoral or postdoctoral scholar, alumni or faculty—who has demonstrated extraordinary dedication in championing another person’s career. Nominations should highlight specific examples of exceptional support and advocacy that have significantly impacted someone’s professional journey.
