A Message From Our Director
Dear reader,
If new year planning and goal setting feels exhausting, or now is just not the time, you can do this very simple exercise instead from my friend, a well-respected psychiatrist.
She pulls out this tradition every year on our birthdays — and that’s what I like about it; you can make a new vision for yourself and your work anytime you feel like it.
So here’s the simple exercise:
Dr. A’s Birthday Questions:
- What are 3-5 things you learned, did, or accomplished in 2024 (or at 42, or this quarter)? Pick a time period that serves you.
- What are 3-5 things you’d like to learn, accomplish, or do in 2025 (or by next full moon, next birthday, etc.)?
- Share with us some of your goals for 2025 in the comments here.
