Dear reader,

My name is Avi, and I work with employer partners who are looking to hire our talented students from Hopkins. Our team connects you to talent across all of our 12 schools, ensuring there’s a clear strategy and funnel to meet your needs.

I’m taking over the newsletter this month because we’re writing from Bologna, Italy, at our SAIS campus. Here, I’ve been meeting with colleagues to expand our career opportunities for students across the EU.

Did you know Bologna is home to the oldest university in Europe, and students have been walking to class under these same beautiful stone porticos since the 13th century? It is a city that has balanced the conflict between social, economic, religious, and political interests throughout the centuries. It’s no surprise our SAIS Europe program found its home here.

When our employer partners attend a career fair or host an info session, they get to meet students from a wide array of backgrounds, industries, and perspectives. And despite all of these differences, I’ve seen a thread that unites these students, across Nanjing, Bologna, and Baltimore: they are passionate about manifesting the change they want to see in the world. Let’s help them do that.
