Global Career Discovery Week
Global Career Discovery Week is a multi-day signature program designed to help JHU students explore global career pathways, international hiring practices, and region-specific opportunities across industries.
Offered as part of the Master’s Life Design Hub’s signature programming, this event brings together career experts, alumni, employers, and campus partners to help students, particularly international students and globally mobile graduates, navigate an increasingly complex global labor market at Johns Hopkins University.

MLDH Alumni Panels
The Master’s Life Design Hub alumni panels connect master’s students in WSE, WSE EP, and the KSAS with Hopkins alumni across rapidly evolving, technology-driven fields.
Through interactive discussion and Q&A, students gain practical frameworks for making informed, flexible career decisions and feel more confident and connected as they prepare for life after Hopkins.
Spring 2026 Session(s)
The Master’s Life Design Hub invites Master’s Liberal Arts students to an alumni panel discussion, From Curiosity to Career: Turning Interdisciplinary Passions into Professional Purpose.
This interactive conversation will feature two alumni who have successfully translated their diverse academic interests into meaningful career paths. Moderated by a current student, the panel will explore how curiosity, transferable skills, and intentional decision-making shape professional direction. Participants will gain insight into navigating uncertainty, articulating interdisciplinary strengths, and designing careers that align with their values and evolving interests.

Life Design Chronicles (LDC)
Life Design Chronicles (LDC) is a student-powered podcast from Johns Hopkins University’s Office of Integrative Life Design. Through real conversations with JHU alumni, mentors, and employers, students explore careers, life design, and what it means to build a meaningful future. Co-hosted and produced by students alongside Life Design Educators, the podcast helps listeners connect their values, identities, and goals to real-world opportunities.
JHU Future Fest
JHU Future Fest is the university’s annual fall career exploration and employer engagement experience that brings together students, alumni, and employers for a week of career fairs, workshops, networking sessions, and industry-focused opportunities. Hosted by the Life Design Lab and partners across campus, Future Fest helps students uncover career pathways, build professional confidence, and make meaningful connections with employers from a wide range of fields.
Future Fest is intentionally scheduled early in the fall semester to support students as they begin their job and internship search and gain momentum for recruiting cycles ahead.

The Industry Series serve as an exciting opportunity for students to learn about different industries, network with top employers, and see how their unique talents and skills make them qualified for careers across a variety of professional contexts; even those that they may have never considered before!
