Signature Events

MLDH Signature Events

The Master’s Life Design Hub’s Signature Events are a curated set of high-impact programs designed to support master’s students at key moments in their academic and career journeys. Together, these events provide structured preparation, purposeful exploration, and meaningful employer and alumni engagement, reflecting the realities of graduate hiring timelines and global labor markets at Johns Hopkins University.

Graduate Career Accelerator Bootcamp

The Graduate Career Accelerator Bootcamp is a recurring, full-day signature event designed to help master’s students build career confidence and clarity at the very start of each semester. Offered every semester on the Friday before the first week of classes, the bootcamp provides students, especially new, incoming, and international students, with a structured introduction to the U.S. job and internship search and the career resources available at Johns Hopkins University.

JHU Future Fest

JHU Future Fest is the university’s annual fall career exploration and employer engagement experience that brings together students, alumni, and employers for a week of career fairs, workshops, networking sessions, and industry-focused opportunities. Hosted by the Life Design Lab and partners across campus, Future Fest helps students uncover career pathways, build professional confidence, and make meaningful connections with employers from a wide range of fields.

Future Fest is intentionally scheduled early in the fall semester to support students as they begin their job and internship search and gain momentum for recruiting cycles ahead.

Life Design Chronicles (LDC)

Life Design Chronicles (LDC) is a student-powered podcast from Johns Hopkins University’s Office of Integrative Life Design. Through real conversations with JHU alumni, mentors, and employers, students explore careers, life design, and what it means to build a meaningful future. Co-hosted and produced by students alongside Life Design Educators, the podcast helps listeners connect their values, identities, and goals to real-world opportunities. Guided by our values of opportunity, curiosity, belonging, co-creation, and innovation, LDC creates space for learning, reflection, and connection.
