This course examines the anatomy, function, and clinical significance of the psoas muscle, with emphasis on its role in posture, mobility, and pain patterns. Nurses, including RNs, NPs, and CNSs can learn how psoas dysfunction can contribute to low back pain, hip issues, and movement limitations. This course introduces assessment strategies and evidence-informed techniques to support patient comfort and functional improvement. Emphasis is placed on safe, patient-centered approaches that can complement nursing care in rehabilitation, pain management, and mobility support.
