Higher Ed Fellowship
building future leaders
Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders
The PHutures Higher Ed Fellowship, a joint initiative between the Krieger School of Arts & Sciences and Whiting School of Engineering’s Office of Graduate & Postdoctoral Affairs, offers practical experience in an influential doctoral career development office.
Aimed at JHU doctoral students, the program offers a dynamic opportunity to support peers and shape the future of education.
Fellows undertake varying roles, from project-based tasks to long-term responsibilities, fostering diverse skills under the mentorship of seasoned university staff. By leveraging existing skills and nurturing new ones, our fellows grow both professionally and personally.
“If you’re excited about helping graduate students explore diverse careers—and you want to hone your professional skills in the process—I can’t recommend a PHutures fellowship enough!”
Rachel Waxman, Ph.D History
