The Life Design Lab @Homewood hosted its second iteration of graduate school boot camp (#JHUGradCamp2022) on May 23-26, 2022 from 3:30pm-6pm EST. This virtual four-day event helped students gain insights and skills needed to launch their graduate school career with expert advice from faculty, professionals, and current graduate students.
Recorded sessions include:
Day 1: Figuring out where to apply to graduate school can feel like a daunting process in the beginning. During this session, participants will receive insight from current graduate students and leave with personalized tools to organize their search.
Day 2: Admissions experts will share their tips and tricks for making a strong and memorable graduate school application. Implement their guidance and life design practices to construct your stand out curriculum vitae (CV)!
Day 3: A compelling personal statement begins with a compelling story, one that amplifies your distinct voice. During this session, you will draft a captivating personal statement using guidance from expert storytellers and life design principles.
Day 4: Recommendations and funding are two key components to success in the graduate school application process. During this panel, you’ll get the faculty perspective on the best ways to seek their support. The following workshop will orient you to strategies and opportunities to help fund your education.
