Homewood: Pre-Health 101 Fall Sessions Virtual
Please sign up for ONLY 1 session. If the dates are full, please wait for additional dates to open; names are NOT BEING PULLED from a waitlist.
All freshmen (and sophomores that did not attend as freshmen) who are interested in the health professions (pre-med, pre-dental, physician assistant, nursing, etc.) are required to attend a Pre-Health 101 meeting prior to making their first individual appointment with an advisor. These 1 hour group sessions are offered in the fall and spring semesters and focus on the basic requirements of being a pre-health student and how to gain experiences both on campus and in the surrounding Baltimore community. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
Sophomores who previously attended Pre-Health 101 are not required to attend another Pre-Health 101 session and can schedule an individual advising appointment at any time. Juniors, seniors, all transfers, and alumni are not required to attend Pre-Health 101, and can schedule an individual advising appointment at any time.
To receive credit for completing the Pre-Health 101 session and access individual pre-health advising, attendance of at least 70% is required.
For this 60-minute presentation, if you arrive more than 20 minutes late or depart more than 20 minutes early, you will not receive credit for attending pre-health 101 and will need to register for another session on Handshake.
