Homewood: Pre-Health 101 Fall Sessions (In-Person)
All first-year students (and sophomores that did not attend in their first year) who are interested in the health professions (pre-med, pre-dental, physician assistant, nursing, etc.) are required to attend a Pre-Health 101 meeting prior to making their first individual appointment with an advisor. These 1-hour group sessions are offered in the fall and spring semesters and focus on the basic requirements of being a pre-health student and how to gain experiences both on campus and in the surrounding Baltimore community. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. Sophomores who previously attended Pre-Health 101 are not required to attend another Pre-Health 101 session and can schedule an individual advising appointment at any time. Juniors, seniors, all transfers, and alumni are not required to attend Pre-Health 101, and can schedule an individual advising appointment at any time. To receive credit for completing the Pre-Health 101 session and access individual pre-health advising, you must attend the session and complete the PH 101 worksheet within 24 hours of attending the session. Those who do not complete the PH 101 workshop will not receive credit for attending and will need to register for another session on Handshake. Names may not be pulled from the waitlist. If the dates are full, please wait for additional dates to open.
