Health Equity in Action: Careers Addressing Social Determinants of Health (Doctoral students and Postdocs in Public Health)

This panel will feature careers focused on tackling health disparities and advocating for underserved communities. Panelists will discuss working with community organizations, local governments, and advocacy groups to drive systemic change, and building skillsets that include community engagement, cultural competence, and advocacy, to be able to do so.

Example Careers: Community health program managers, health equity advisors, social determinants specialists.
