DLDS: CareerKit - Designing Your Career
Career planning can be daunting, especially if you’re unsure what roles exist or how to begin. In this workshop, we will introduce a practical, step-by-step process to help you clarify what matters to you, identify roles that align with your skills and interests, and gather real-world information about career paths. You will leave with greater clarity about your professional values and goals, as well as concrete next steps for moving forward. This workshop is part of CareerKit, a weekly series for doctoral and postdoctoral scholars that covers key steps in preparing for a range of career paths. Each session includes a 30-minute lesson followed by a 30-minute practicum, so you can learn practical strategies and apply them right away with feedback. You’re welcome to attend for just the first 30 minutes or stay for the full hour.
