DLDS: CareerKit - Crafting Cover Letters for Government, Industry, and Nonprofits

In this workshop, we will demystify the genre, look closely at a model that works, and talk through how to tailor your letter for specific opportunities. You will leave with a clear structure to follow, practical strategies for writing, and feedback to help you get started.This workshop is part of CareerKit, a weekly series for doctoral and postdoctoral scholars that covers key steps in preparing for a range of career paths. Each session includes a 30-minute lesson followed by a 30-minute practicum, so you can learn practical strategies and apply them right away with feedback. You’re welcome to attend for just the first 30 minutes or stay for the full hour.
