LinkedIn is a powerful tool for career exploration, networking, and learning about opportunities, but with so many features it is easy to feel unsure about where to focus. What actually matters when building a strong and professional profile? In this workshop, we will break down the key elements of an effective LinkedIn presence, review examples, and share practical strategies you can use to strengthen your profile. You will leave with a checklist of what to update, ideas for writing a clear summary, and feedback to help you take the next step with more confidence.This workshop is part of CareerKit, a weekly series for doctoral and postdoctoral scholars that covers key steps in preparing for a range of career paths. Each session includes a 30-minute lesson followed by a 30-minute practicum, so you can learn practical strategies and apply them right away with feedback. You’re welcome to attend for just the first 30 minutes or stay for the full hour.
