The Life Design Lab is proud to announce the sixth annual Future Fest Career Fair, Hopkin’s premier recruitment event that helps fosters authentic connections between employers and the Hopkins community!  Through Future Fest, you have a variety of opportunities to recruit talented students, including our industry specific Career Fairs, STEM Virtual Career Fair, and Student Organization Showcase.

Consulting, Finance, Health, and Social Impact Career Fair: Thursday, September 18th from 3-6pm ET and Fast Track Chats Friday, September 19th from 1-3pm

• What: Connect with students to hire for open positions, build your brand across Hopkins campus, and meet incredible talent. We will be hosting on-site fast track chats for employers to host 15-minute screening interviews directly after the fair from 1-3pm. If you are interested in participating in Fast Track Chats, you can opt in the add on items. 
• Where: Ralph O’Connor Recreation Center on Homewood Campus
• Who: All Hopkins students including undergraduate, masters, and PHD students are invited. This fair will be targeted towards our Krieger School of Arts & Sciences students. The most common majors include public health, molecular & cellular biology, economics, psychology, neuroscience, and international studies.
• Registration: Includes up to 4 attendees, a 6’ table, 2 chairs, coffee, water, dinner, and parking.
• Cost: $800 for Corporation or For-Profit Organizations and $300 for Government, Small Business, or Non-profit

Biotech, Engineering, and Tech Career Fair: Friday, September 19th from 10am-1pm ET and Fast Track Chats from 1-3pm ET

The most common majors include computer science, biomedical engineering, applied mathematics & statistics, chemical & biomolecular engineering, and mechanical engineering.

• Monday, September 15th from 12-3pm for Graduate Level Talent and 3-6pm for Undergraduate Level Talent
• What: Connect with students virtually for 1:1 or small group conversations to recruit for open positions, build your brand across Hopkins campus, and meet incredible talent. You will get to choose if you would like to meet undergraduate and/or graduate level students.
• Where: The fair will be hosted through Handshake. However, we encourage using your own virtual platform (Zoom, Teams, WebEx, etc.) to host sessions on the day of the fair. You will be able to manage this process when creating your schedule.
• Who: Hopkins STEM students including undergraduate, masters, and PHD students are invited. Master’s and PHD talent will be participating in the fair from 12-3pm and undergraduate talent will be participating from 3-6pm. 
• Cost: $500 for Corporations or For-Profit Organizations and $200 for Government, Small Business, or Non-profit. Register for one or both sessions for the same cost.

• Who: All Hopkins students including undergraduate, masters, and PHD students are invited. This fair will be targeted towards our Advanced Academic Program students who are master’s level talent. The most common majors are communications, applied economics, and financial economics. A large majority of these students will require sponsorship at some point in their career, so we are encouraging this fair for employers who are open to OPT/CPT or sponsoring students.
• Registration: Includes up to 4 attendees, a 6’ table, 2 chairs, coffee, water, dinner, and parking.
• Cost: $800 Corporation or For-Profit Organizations and $300 Government, Small Business, or Non-profit

• What: Connect with personnel and student leaders in an evening networking mixer. You will first get to engage with students through speed networking and hear from leaders present about the skills they are learning from their experience in the student organizations. STEM  will be featured.
• Where: Ralph O’Connor Recreation Center on Homewood Campus
• Who: Primarily Undergraduate Student Organization Leaders from STEM and Diverse Student Organizations
• Registration: Includes buffet dinner
• Cost: FREE for attendees of the career fair. $100 for 2 representatives to attend who are not participating in the career fair.

• What: The Future Fest Hiring Initiative is an opportunity where we will take the lead in posting your positions on Handshake, promoting them students, and providing you with an application book from all students who are interested in your positions! We have seen by having targeted promotion over a short period, we can prepare our students to be top applicants and garner more interest in the positions posted.  
• When: Job descriptions must be received by September 5. Roles will be promoted September 6-22. You will receive an application book in your inbox on September 23

Employer Expectations:

• Review all applications and provide updates on candidates hiring status in a timely manner 
• Make final hiring decisions before or around November 4, 2024. 
• Provide students with 2 weeks to make their final decision around accepting or rejecting (to help decrease reneges) 
• Update the LDL staff by November 25th on offers and hires made
