Position Summary

The Builders Internship Program provides students with meaningful, hands-on experience across a variety of business functions. As an intern, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals on real projects, contribute to team initiatives, and gain valuable exposure to the insurance industry and corporate business operations.

Whether your interests are in Claims, Underwriting, Information Technology, Finance, Marketing, People Operations, Sales, Customer Experience, Risk Management, or another business area, you’ll have the opportunity to develop professionally while making an impact.

Throughout the internship, you’ll participate in learning opportunities, networking events, professional development sessions, and collaborative projects designed to help you grow your skills and prepare for your future career.

What You’ll Do

Depending on your assigned department, responsibilities may include:

  • Support day-to-day business operations and department initiatives.
  • Assist with research, reporting, data analysis, and project coordination.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business initiatives.
  • Develop and improve processes, documentation, or training materials.
  • Analyze information to identify trends and recommend solutions.
  • Deliver high-quality work while managing multiple priorities.
  • Participate in professional development workshops, networking events, and internship activities.
  • Present project updates or a final capstone presentation to leadership.
  • Build relationships with mentors, peers, and business leaders across the organization.
