OPPAGA is an ideal setting for gaining hands-on experience in policy analysis and working on a wide range of issues of interest to the Florida Legislature. OPPAGA provides an opportunity to work in a legislative policy research office with a highly qualified, multidisciplinary staff that includes public administrators, social scientists, attorneys, and others.
Graduate assistants work side-by-side with our professional staff on research projects. Mentoring and professional development opportunities are part of the work experience.
Students who have completed at least one year in a research-oriented graduate level program are strongly encouraged to apply for our paid academic year program.
