Job Description
The candidate will work in a team work environment, assemble small size battery packs and related sub-assemblies, perform related QA testing. Candidate must be a team player with demonstrated skills and abilities, or the fast learner in mechanical dexterity, assembly manufacturing, material handling, soldering, wiring and ability to comprehend basic prints and wiring diagrams. If you are in Electrical Engineering major, have motivation and capability, you will have opportunities to further gain experience of battery pack design.
Experienced technician with soldering experience is preferred. Entry level candidate with no experience is welcome as well, training will be provided.
Job Duties include the following areas:
- Assemble small size battery packs and related sub-assemblies according to specifications and drawings.
- Spot soldering and welding for electrical board (PCB).
- Nimh/NiCD and LiPo battery cell matching.
- QC Testing and RMA analysis.
- Perform battery charging according to defined operating procedures when needed.
- Perform proper data recording.
- Report issues and troubleshooting issues identified during the testing.
- Assist with new battery pack design.
- Assist with existing battery pack design improvement.
