Career transitions can be exciting yet uncertain, but you don’t have to face them alone. Your school’s career center provides expert guidance, resources, and networking opportunities to help you explore new industries and adapt to workforce changes.
On-Call Student Support Resources
JHU has compiled a one-stop shop of university-wide resources that you might find helpful, regardless of your program affiliation or home campus. Our goal is to make sure students have a quick way to access helpful information, such as how to get back to campus, who to contact for support, and other resources they may need when navigating a challenging situation.
- The Student Health and Well-Being website serves as a portal for all health and well-being resources across the university.
- Student Outreach and Support is located in the AMR II ground level annex and available for appointments by calling 410-516-7857 or scheduling through the website.
- Mental Health Services can be reached at 410-516-3311, and 24/7 telehealth counseling is also available through TimelyCare TalkNow.
- If you or someone you know is experiencing a crisis, contact the Behavioral Health Crisis Support Team at 410-516-WELL (9355) to speak with a crisis support clinician. The BHCST can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- A Place to Talk peer listening group is available Sunday to Friday from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. in Brody Learning Commons, room 4010, and from 7 to 11 p.m. in Wolman Hall.
- Religious and Spiritual Life, is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and can be reached at 410-516-1880.
- Students who live in residence halls may contact their Resident Advisor or Residence Director or stop by the closest Residential Life office. To get connected, check the staff directory on the Residential Life website, call 410-516-8283, or email residentiallife@jhu.edu.
- Johns Hopkins University has an Administrator On-Call 24/7 for students who require emergency assistance throughout the year. Contact information can be found on the website: On-Call Support Resources – Student Outreach and Support
- The Office of International Services (OIS) at Johns Hopkins is a virtual service operation that serves all JHU international students, scholars, researchers, postdocs, faculty, and staff regardless of their location or divisional affiliation. OIS is dedicated to providing consistent, exceptional, and individualized immigration services and immigration programming support for all Johns Hopkins divisions.
