Each episode dives into breakthrough topics such as artificial intelligence, neural networks, sustainability, cryptocurrency, and bioethics, with conversations designed to spark curiosity, challenge assumptions, and spotlight what is coming next. Featured guests have included a multimillionaire entrepreneur, startup CEOs, an award-winning Johns Hopkins senior lecturer, a Harvard PhD student, and a senior journalist at a leading news organization.
Students are in a unique position to shape the future. Futurism at JHU offers a platform to think through innovative solutions to the worldâs most pressing scientific and technological challenges. Members join a podcast community and have the opportunity to engage directly with peers and distinguished guest speakers.
Our goal is to highlight innovative work taking place across Johns Hopkins University, from the School of Medicine to the Applied Physics Laboratory, while drawing more distinguished speakers to the podcast and creating more opportunities for student voices to be heard.
