In partnership with the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD), the mission of JHU 4Rare is to spread awareness and recognition of rare diseases, build patient & professional connections, and become active contributors to the rare disease space.
Members of the JHU 4Rare organization will have the opportunity to support rare disease research/advocacy efforts, engage in volunteerism and shadowing, attend the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) D.C. event, join a lively pre-med community, and, most importantly, amplify the voices of rare disease-affected individuals both on and off-campus.
