Latine Student Nurses Association aims to create a sustainable and impactful team whose objectives shall be:
– To sustain the group across MSN, DNP, PHD, faculty, staff, and allies
– To work within and amongst the campuses to develop and maintain a more inclusive environment for the Johns Hopkins Latine community
– To facilitate interactions among professors, students, healthcare professionals, and scientists committed to the improvement of Latine care and education
– To advocate for improvement in curriculum, guidelines, research, and community engagement related to the Latine populations
– To create a support system for Latine identifying trainees across the school to build meaningful connections
– To work within the community to address and advocate for health care disparities.
To create and sustain a group dedicated to raising awareness of Latine-related healthcare issues, to facilitate inclusive curriculums and interactions among professors, students, healthcare professionals, and scientists within and beyond the JHU community, and to build a community that provides support to any Latine-identifying trainees and/or allies.
