Voice for Life is the pro-life student organization at Johns Hopkins University and exists for two primary reasons. The first purpose of Voice for Life is to defend the inviolable right to life of every innocent human being. Our members seek to foster a culture of life at Johns Hopkins University and in the surrounding community. We also advocate for the right to life of the preborn through respectful and productive dialogues. The other essential purpose of Voice for Life is to support pregnant and parenting students by connecting them with resources that can help them achieve both short-term and long-term success. We also promote awareness of these resources within the university to inform the community of their benefits.
Voice for Life is partnered with Students for Life of America, which allows members to contact local resource coordinators and connect with other pro-life events and organizations while providing a community for pro-life students.
1. Promote critical thinking on life issues via tabling, opinion polls, chalking, speakers, and pro-life apologetics seminars.
2. Help women facing unexpected pregnancies by making JHU more baby-friendly, providing adoption information, and fundraising for pregnancy resource centers.
3. Petition for legal protection for all innocent human life and attend the March for Life, Maryland March for Life, and National Students for Life Conference.
4. Help the local pro-life community by volunteering at pregnancy centers and networking with other local pro-life students and student groups.
