Get to Know Marta
What was your dream job as a kid?
“As a child, my dream job was to be a pediatrician. I always loved playing doctor and was excited by the idea of putting clues together to figure out how to best help someone. It helped that I had a really fantastic pediatrician when I was younger. This excitement around piecing together bits of information to fix larger and bigger problems has definitely stuck with me!”
If time and money were no issue, what are the jobs that you would be doing?
“I would open my own restaurant! I would do everything from design and paint the interior of the physical space, create a menu and curate the overall restaurant vibe, and work as a chef (unlimited time and money, right??). I love cooking for family and friends and bringing those around me together over a good meal – and I can’t stop binging The Bear whenever a new season comes out.”
What are your superpowers inside and outside of work?
“My superpowers are my my memory, and my organization. I love to be organized, even if that means organized chaos! I take immense pride in having a “rolodex” of information in my brain, and i know where everything is in it – this is where my memory comes in. This also transfers over to how I like to keep the space around me – organized, well cataloged (even if just in my brain), and navigable.”
