Best Practices for Space Reservations at Imagine Center
- Share your name, the name of the meeting you are hosting, and whether you are expecting a food delivery.
- This also helps when guests arrive; the security guard can direct them to the right place. This is particularly important when multiple events are happening simultaneously.
- This is also a safety precaution: if there is an emergency, the security staff knows who is convening the event and can alert you.
- Rearranging furniture and handling food deliveries is your responsibility.
- Imagine Center staff may not be available to assist.
- The Imagine Center parking lot is permit-only; daily permits can be purchased here: https://jhfre.jhu.edu/ts/parking/request-parking-permit/ (To park at the Imagine Center lot, select Homewood Field lot.).
- For specific parking questions, please email parking@jhu.edu; it is helpful but not required to CC imagine_events@jhu.edu as well.
- You must bring your own laptop to host the online meeting; we do not have an extra laptop to provide.
- When hosting a virtual or hybrid event, please arrive at least 15 minutes early so we can set up your technology before your guests arrive.
- Microsoft Teams meetings are challenging to host in our spaces. They do not enable you to take full advantage of the Imagine Center’s cameras and features.
- If you are ordering boxed lunches, you must request additional trash bins, which will incur a cost from JHU facilities.
- Please use this link (Facilities Request) to request trash receptacles; you must input a Cost Center for the charge.
- Please forward the confirmation to imagine_events@jhu.edu.
Please note: Special requests in the Imagine Center, such as moving furniture or reserving multiple spaces concurrently, require preauthorization and a walkthrough ahead of time.
