Mentorship offers immense value to students by providing expert guidance and support tailored to their aspirations. Through personalized advice and industry insights, mentors help students navigate their educational journey, build essential skills, and connect with valuable professional networks. These relationships can foster personal growth, boost confidence, and enhance academic performance, equipping students with the tools and motivation needed for success. At Johns Hopkins University, mentorship is a cornerstone of our commitment to developing well-rounded, capable leaders.

What is OneHop?

OneHop is an easy-to-use platform allowing you to build connections with JHU alumni.

What happens when I sign up?

Alumni recommendations will be based on your profile information. You can also browse our community of professionals by industry, major, location, and more.

As soon as you reach out to connect, you will be offered different options to schedule and conduct a meeting. You and the alum will coordinate how to hold your meeting virtually or in person.

How can I get the most out of this program?

Be active! Ask questions and make new connections. Don’t be afraid to reach out to someone. People are waiting for you to connect with them. Everyone in our community is here to support you.

Also, check out the Discussion board to see the types of information that are being shared by students and alumni.
