
The Life Design Lab supports and serves all Krieger and Whiting undergraduates and students, regardless of post-graduate plans.
Through the LDL students have access to a variety of resources such as life design programs and courses, experiential learning opportunities, career search and development programs and guidance, as well as networking opportunities and connections with alumni and employers.

Clinical Healthcare Industry Week serves as an exciting opportunity for students to learn about clinical healthcare and medical professions, network with alumni and healthcare recruiters, develop relevant & marketable skillsets, and see how their unique talents and skills make them qualified for careers within this field – even those that they may have never considered before!
Craft Your Story Series
Craft Your Story is a workshop series designed to help JHU undergraduates turn their experiences into clear, compelling career narratives. The series includes Craft Your FLI Story, designed with first-generation and limited-income students in mind, and Craft Your Senior Story, tailored for graduating seniors preparing for interviews and networking. Both tracks focus on storytelling, skill translation, and confidence-building strategies—and are open to all undergraduates.

The first step in the life design process is having our students connect with their life design educator. Life Design Educators (LDEs) focus on connecting students to immersive career and industry experiences as well as mentoring relationships. They are experts in personal and professional resources that facilitate overall student growth.
