Life Design Lab

Empowering Students to Design Their Futures

The Life Design Lab at Johns Hopkins University provides students with the guidance, resources, and opportunities to navigate their career journeys with confidence. Grounded in the principles of life design, we help students explore diverse career paths, develop essential skills, and cultivate meaningful professional connections.

Our Approach:

  • Individualized career coaching and mentorship
  • Hands-on experiential learning opportunities and funding support
  • Strategic employer and alumni engagement
  • Skill-building workshops and career development resources

Regardless of major or career aspirations, the Life Design Lab is committed to equipping students with the tools and mindset necessary to build fulfilling, purpose-driven careers.

The first step in the life design process is having our students connect with their life design educator. Life Design Educators (LDEs) focus on connecting students to immersive career and industry experiences as well as mentoring relationships. They are experts in personal and professional resources that facilitate overall student growth.
