Industry Weeks 2024

Beginning the week of September 23rd and throughout the 2024-2025 academic year, the Life Design Lab will host Industry Weeks.   

Industry Weeks serve as an exciting opportunity for students to learn about different industries, network with top employers, and see how their unique talents and skills make them qualified for careers across a variety of professional contexts; even those that they may have never considered before! 

ExploreTours and Intersession Treks

Discover hands-on opportunities to explore industries you’ve always been curious about with the Life Design Lab’s Fall Break Career Treks. Whether you’re interested in engineering, biotech, or robotics, these immersive experiences provide an inside look at 4-6 leading employers in each field. Gain valuable insights into company culture, career paths, and what day-to-day life is like at these organizations. Handshake is JHU’s premiere platform to register for all events, find drop in hours, view resources, and apply for JHU vetted internships, jobs and other immersive experiences! It’s free for all enrolled students and always up-to-date.

Mentorship is the pinnacle of networking, offering industry insights while opening the door to pointed growth and development. Hopkins students can connect with alumni mentors on OneHop, a platform dedicated to connections with alumni based on industry, interest, location, and identity.
