General Description:
Responsible for the analysis and characterization of prototypes, as well as performance tuning of servo and whole-arm control for the manipulators. The tasks include control strategy evaluation and iteration, system integration and product developments.
Key Responsibility:
1. Provide critical analysis and characterization of robot servo control, kinematics, and dynamics
2. Develop robotic control strategies, robotic algorithms and software to improve robot’s control performance
3. Support and track control module’s quality, safety, and performance as it moves from prototype to product-level module
Qualification:
1.Master or PhD in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
2.Understand and have the experience implementing standard and modern control methods on real systems
3.Knowledge of robotics manipulator kinematics, dynamics, force/torque control
4.Knowledge of linear, nonlinear, robust or optimal control on manipulators
5.knowledge of state/disturbance observer
6.Possess strong programming skills on C++, Python, MATLAB or ROS
7.Experience in designing and developing robotic systems and components
8.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
9.Effective communication and collaboration skills
