JDC Entwine’s Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist role may be what you are looking for. The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will manage Entwine’s data infrastructure. They will collect, organize, and analyze Entwine’s data to drive insights, improve outcomes, and help tell Entwine’s story of impact. This role works collaboratively across the Entwine team to help meet the full program’s data and reporting needs.

What will you do as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist?
- Design, implement, compile and assess data from program surveys
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to derive insights about program effectiveness, participant engagement and satisfaction
- Create compelling data visualizations and presentations to communicate findings to key stakeholders
- Develop dashboards, reports, and recommendation briefs to inform strategy
- Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in data sets to provide actionable insights
- Support program staff in making adjustments and refreshing programs based on trends in the data
- Maintain and improve upon data infrastructure, systems, and processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify analytics and reporting need
- Familiarize yourself with JDC’s global mission and work
- Be a JDC Entwine expert by maintaining and communicating the work and goals of the department, with a high-level understanding of JDC through an Entwine lens.
- Travel 1-2 times per year to experience Entwine programming and for the Entwine team retreat
- Such other duties as may be assigned from time to time

What qualifications are required to be our Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist?
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Prior professional experience in a data analysis role
- Highly proficient in Excel, survey tools (Survey Monkey, Qualtrics, etc.), and data visualization platforms (PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Presentation and storytelling skills; Ability to use data to effectively tell a story to both internal and external audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Passion for leveraging data to drive impact
- Team-orientation, ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Additional Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Previous monitoring and evaluation, program evaluation, data science, or management consulting experience preferred
- Experience creating infographics a plus
- Passion for humanitarian work and/or global Jewish service strongly preferred

What are the compensation and benefits for a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist?
This is a full-time position paid semi-monthly at a salary of $70,000-$85,000 per year; in determining where a candidate falls in that range JDC considers several factors, including skills and experience, internal equity, and cost of living in location of work. This role is exempt per the FLSA.
