Matthew is the Assistant Vice Provost for Undergraduate and Masters Life Design at Integrative Learning and Life Design, Johns Hopkins University. He oversees a team of 26 consisting of Life Design Educators and Operations staff. The Life Design Lab at the Imagine Center engages students and alumni in life design, experiential learning, professional development, and connections with alumni and employers.

Matthew served as the Executive Director of Communications for the Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University. In this role as well as in his role as Communication Manager at Georgetown University he cultivated teams that focused on university program development and implementation, multimedia content creation, institutional branding and scalable engagement with students, faculty, staff and alumni.

In addition to his tenure in higher education Matthew worked for the NFL Players Association where he helped individuals navigate through major life transitions and develop their skills through dedicated programming in order to ultimately pursue their own personal passions. He has built and launched systems and databases to improve efficiency, led award winning programs, and executed large scale public campaigns which raised the profile and prominence of his organizations. Matthew earned bachelor’s degrees in both Mathematics and English before acquiring his master’s in Communications and Marketing, all from Georgetown University.
